Dua For Entering Toilet And Leaving

Dua For Entering Toilet And Leaving

When nature calls, we can recite a dua for entering the toilet and leaving. Muslims should do this every time.

Entering the toilet leaves us vulnerable. It’s an impure place. We uncover our ‘awrah there.

The toilet is where the shayatin love to hang out. They love it because we’re unable to remember Allah verbally in there.

But one thing we can do to protect ourselves from the shayatin is recite an Arabic dua for entering the toilet and leaving the toilet.

Dua For Entering Toilet

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

Allah-umma inni a`udhu bika minal khubuthi wal khaba’ith.

O Allah, I seek Refuge with You from all offensive and wicked things (evil deeds and evil spirits).

Narrated Anas:
Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) went to answer the call of nature, he used to say, “Allah-umma inni a`udhu bika minal khubuthi wal khaba’ith i.e. O Allah, I seek Refuge with You from all offensive and wicked things (evil deeds and evil spirits).

Sahih al-Bukhari

Dua For Leaving Toilet

غُفْرَانَكَ

Ghufranaka.

I seek Your forgiveness.

Yusuf bin Abi Burdah narrated:
“I heard my father say: ‘I entered upon ‘Aishah, and I heard her say: “When the Messenger of Allah exited the toilet, he would say: Ghufranaka (I seek Your forgiveness).'”
