7 Inspiring Muslim Revert Stories

As a Muslim revert myself, I can tell you that when you accept Islam, its rarely an easy ride for people.

The process of accepting Islam involves a lot of research, reasoning and big lifestyle changes. Your family and friends are likely to turn their backs on you. Reverts even lose their jobs or their homes upon accepting Islam.

Its a big trial that new reverts face. The only way to deal with it is through plenty of sabr and tawakkul.

You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah – indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.

Qur’an 3:186
